News Update Welcome to
our newsletter, which will be published quarterly. It is hoped that the newsletter
will give you an insight into the current enquiries, which we are
investigating on behalf of Solicitors, Barristers and Human Resources
Directors. In turn it is anticipated that you may well identify a need
whereby we can assist with your enquiries.
July 2008 Welcome to our latest newsletter - it has been an excellent year so far at Expert Investigations Ltd. As we write we have just completed our tax “year end” and 8.5 years of trading. We have again shown a consistent rise in turnover and profit. This bodes well for the future - as we can expand our operations into new fields which are currently being explored (we hope to be in a position to tell you more in our next newsletter). “Outside the Box” Our efforts have been recognised with this award to David Kearns, Managing Director of Expert Investigations. He received the award at the Coventry and Warwickshire Bright Sparks Annual Awards for his ability to “Think Outside the Box” - in the manner that he develops and operates the business. David said, “It is very nice to be recognised for our achievements - in an unusual industry such as ours there is a need to think diversely in order to deal with customers requirements”. "Great New Contract" Expert Investigations have been awarded a contract with Autologic Plc to conduct risk assessments at their UK sites and develop a strategy for security of the product and staff. Expert Investigations were instructed by Avril Palmer-Baunack CEO of Autologic who identified the benefit of outsourcing to such a resource. "Tracking Devices" We have made substantial purchases of the latest state of the art real time covert tracking facilities. Up until now there has not been a suitable product on the market for private sector - previously this sector being the reserve of the Police and Security Forces. Our trackers can be fitted in seconds and give real time with 3D views, mapping and recording of routes. The speed of the vehicle is also shown. "Expert Media Opinion" David Kearns has been busy on the media front recently. David was called as an expert to discuss ‘Covert Surveillance in the Public Sector’. This happened as a result of a document released concerning Local Authorities using surveillance services. Expert Investigations are instructed by Local Authorities to conduct such investigations and David has been commenting on Radio 5 live, BBC Radio 2, BBC News 24 as well as the BBC One ‘Politics Show’ with Andrew Marr.
